We have a number of fixtures using nRF52 DK boards to both flash a custom board and to do a DFU operation to that board. We use a SPST switch in the P19 pin 1 lead in the Tag-connect cable to switch. These working fixtures use a DK version 2.1.0. New builds have a version 3.0.3 DK board which seems not to listen to the state of P19 pin 1. What is the problem.

In version 3.0.0 of the DK the onboard debugger was changed, and with this the way external boards connected to P19 is detected was changed. Now pin 3 tied to GND is used for detecting external boards. This should not be a issue when the 10 pin J-link connector is used on the external board, as this pin should be grounded on the device side:
