failed to uninstall nRF connect SDK from tool chain manager

HI

when I try to uninstall/remove my connect sdk, tool chain manager says:

Failed to remove C:\nordicsemi\v2.6.0, operation not permitted. Please close any application or window that might keep this environment locked, then try to remove it again.

I restarted my laptop to make sure no instance is running.

Any clue what is going wrong.

  • Hi again

So, another colleague has also seen this in a more severe fashion, and then the only way around it was to remove the SDK folder manually, uninstall the Toolchain Manager app and nRF Connect for Desktop and installing it again, as it seems like a deadlock somewhere that doesn't let the Toolchain manager delete the SDK.

    Best regards,

    Simon
