nPM130 kick WDT task with GPIO

Hello,

i am using the nPM1300 with a nRF52840. This question is regaring the WDT in the nPM1300.

After reading the datasheet of the nPM1300 my understanding is, that event TASKWATCHDOGKICK can not be triggered by a GPIO event. If I am using WDT of the nPM1300 my only option for kicking WDT is to use the I2C interface.

Please confirm if my understanding is correct. Thanks!

Your understanding is correct, the only way to kick the watchdog timer is through the I2C interface. Here you can find a list of components that can be controlled through GPIO events:
