Hello, is it possible to reset the battery evaluation using SW without restarting the resources? Unfortunately, I sometimes have to take power directly from the battery, so the battery evaluation starts to show distorted data. That's why I need to restart the nPM measurement directly after this few-second consumption so that it estimates the battery status anew.
How to best solve it.

Why are you drawing power directly from the battery when the VSYS pin, which is internally connected to the battery, could be utilized? By using the VSYS pin, you can obtain a more accurate measurement of battery drain and overall power consumption, providing a clearer insight into the system's efficiency. Additionally, the VSYS pin ensures a more streamlined power management setup without the need for direct connections to the battery terminals.

Of course I know that and I use VSYS in other projects where possible. But in this particular case it's a fallback transmission via a 2G modem, and unfortunately the RF part of it has a higher consumption (>1.5A) than what the nPM can provide on the VSYS pin.

Oh for GSM it might create a trouble because the maximum discharge current allowable at VSYS pin is only 1.34A.

Therefore, I have to power the powerful rf amplifier directly from the battery. So do you have any recommendations for resetting the battery estimate? Thank you
