Installed JLink version does not match the expected version

Issue when I open the power profiler software in nRF Connect for Desktop:

11:16:39.737 Initialising nrfutil module: device
11:16:43.315 Using nrfutil-device core version: 7.13.0
11:16:44.051 Using nrfutil-device version: 2.3.5
11:16:44.052 Using nrf-device-lib version: 0.17.17
11:16:44.052 Using nrfjprog DLL version: 10.24.0
11:16:44.052 Using JLink version: JLink_V7.98f
11:16:44.053 Installed JLink version does not match the expected version (JLink_V7.94e)
Do I need to worry about this?

  • Hello,

Were you able to work with the Power Profiler as intended? I am not sure if the provided log is being flagged as an error or a warning. Were you able to detect the Power Profiler properly inside the Power Profiler app (in nRF Connect for Desktop)?

If this is causing issues while working with the Power Profiler, I recommend collecting the verbose logs and sharing them here: Power Profiler App → About → Verbose Logging

    Kind Regards,

    Abhijith
