Is there a way to tell softsim to wait more than 2s?

I'm evaluating the nRF9160-DK with the SOFTSIM feature enabled.

I would like to know if there is a way to tell the softsim to wait for APDU response for more than 2s?

My board details:

Thanks for checking with us. My understanding is that your question is related to softsim implamentaiotn on application side, so it depends on the softsim solution you are using.

Nordic only profive softsim interface in the Modem library which is used to transfer SIM data between the modem and the application. You may check your questions with the softsim provider you are using, for example Onomondo https://help.onomondo.com/en/how-to-integrate-the-onomondo-softsim-with-the-nrf9160-from-nordic-semiconductor.

Hi,

My question is totally related to the softsim interface supported by the NordicSemi board.

Currently the softsim is waiting for the APDU answer up to 2s, and I would like to know if there is a way to tell the softsim to wait a bit more. In a standard SIM protocol, it is defined in document ETSI-TS-102221 (https://www.etsi.org/deliver/etsi_ts/102200_102299/102221/17.01.00_60/ts_102221v170100p.pdf)

"The NULL-byte requests no further data transfer and the
terminal shall only wait for a character conveying a procedure
byte. This behaviour provides additional work waiting time as
defined in this clause."

So Does the NordicSemi softsim implementation support that?
