How to enable encryption in BLE nrf 7002 dk

Hi ,

I want to enable encryption in Bluetooth communication for a proof of concept.

I have Wi-Fi Provisioning example and in that while sending the wi-fi password , I want to make sure that it is encrypted.

How to enable encryption for Wi-Fi password data?

Do you have any documentation regarding how to create custom characteristic UUID for bluetooth?
I want to send a string of 30 bytes via bluetooth

Hi, 

Are you using Wi-Fi: Bluetooth LE based provision sample? The default sample would ask for pairing to encrypt the link. 

You can also take this DevAcademy WIFI course, which will enable pairing and use the PSA backend to store the Wi-Fi credentials.

Hi Amanda,
I want to make sure that the communication via bluetooth is encrypted by 128 bit AES encryption supported by bluetooth specification. Yes I am using following example.

Can you confirm that in this example the data sent via bluetooth is encypted?

LESC pairing is automatically enabled when you enable pairing in nRF Connect SDK projects. 

When your phone is paired with the kit, the security level will change to level 2 to encrypt.
