Please let me know the types of AES-128 encryption supported by the nRF5 SDK 14.2.

I am currently developing with the nRF52832 using the nRF5 SDK 14.2 and need to proceed with AES-128 encryption.

However, I cannot find the CDC (Cipher Block Chaining) library.

Does this mean that AES-128 CBC is not supported, or should I proceed with another type of AES-128 encryption?

I would like to inquire about this.

What method did you use to search?

My SDK 14.2.0 install contains an AES-128-CBC implementaion in the external/cifra_AES128-EAX and external/tiny-AES128 subdirs each. The  mbedtls subdir also looks kind of promising.

Hello,

AES-128 CBC is supported for the nRF52832 SoC. It includes a 128-bit AES encryption feature, which is used in AES-128 CBC mode. But nRF5 SDK 14.2 is very old. As far I know CBC library on that old version of SDK is not feasible.
