Android kotlin library auto connect

Hi there

I am struggeling to find a solution to automatically connect to the controller when found based on the advertised name. I do not want to click on the found device but to automatically connect. This does not seem to work as I need to be within a view model scope.

Any suggestions on how I can achieve this? The documentation on the library did not help.

Hi Benjamin,

Please take a look at the central_uart and peripheral_uart samples in the nRF Connect SDK. They connect automatically to the address provided in the scan_filter_match function within the central_uart sample.

Hi Benjamin,

Apologies for the delay. We don't have that support for Kotlin, but maybe Kotlin should also have an autoconnect feature like in the Android BLE as mentioned in this ticket, but cannot guarantee that.
