nRF Connect SDK Toolchain manager documentation inconsistency

I'm looking into using command line builds for nRF Connect SDK again due to issues I've been running into with vscode.

The instructions on this page (https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/nrf/installation/install_ncs.html) include the following note:

The Toolchain Manager installation is recommended only when using the nRF54H20 DK with the nRF Connect SDK v2.7.0. When using any other DK, the Toolchain Manager installation is recommended for the nRF Connect SDK v1.9.x and earlier versions.

This implies that for the nRF5340DK and nRF Connect SDK versions between v2.0.x and 2.6.x, the toolchain manager is not recommended.

Yes, that is correct. The recomended way to install the toolchain and SDK for most devices and recent SDK versions is using the Toolchain manager funcionality in nRF Connecgt for VS Code, and not the toolchain manager in nRF Connect for Dekstop. That said, you can use nRF Connect for Desktop if you prefer, and it will work for now.
