How to change Frequency in transmit and receive radio frequency in esb_ptx and esb_prx

Hi,

I am using esb_ptx example to transmit data to another device having  esb_prx , here one device having esb_prx has to communicate multiple esb_ptx devices which is happening successfully,

Now I want to change radio frequency esb_ptx and esb_prx  so that I can categorize different clusters on the basis of frequency,

can you please guide me that how to set data transmission and reception radio frequency in esb_ptx and esb_prx .

Hi Kumar,
You can use esb_set_rf_channel() to set the frequency (channel)
Please take a look at the nrf_esb.h and nrf_esb.c to know how to use it.
The default channel is 2 (2400 + 2 MHz)

Can you also confirm if I set TX Device frequency  to lets say 2450Mhz  an RX Device Frequency to 2402Mhz means both are on different frequency channels , so will they communicate or they will not? Please clarify.

Hi,

No they will not. There can be interference on adjacent channels if they are put close to each other, but no, RX on 2402MHz won't receive data on TX 2450MHz.
