FW size confusing

Dear all:

        I have built a project(ex: matter bulb) in Nordic SDK, the generated load is zephyr.hex which size is about 2345kb;

        Then I open nRF Connect Programmer, and choose the zephyr.hex file, in the file memory layout page, I found only green area and the size is 850KB;

        Q1: Why are the two sizes so different?

        Q2: Besides，I found that the nrf52840 flash is only 1M. Does the 850KB greeen region contains the FOTA region?

Hint: Read what is inside an intel hex file and how its structured.

If you convert a hex to binary, you will usually get a file with about 1/3 the size.

Warning: Does not work with hex files that contains UICR on NRFx - because hex files support large "holes".
