Using nRF9160 on R&S CMW5009160-CMW500 signaling callbox ,not about to establish connection

We are now facing a difficulty making a continuous connection between the Rohde & Schwarz CMW500 equipment and devices with the Nordic nrf9160 module(including one Development Board of Nordic nrf9160 in our hands right now).

For an easier reference. There are a total 9 files in that shared folder,pls check. 

1. First of all, we have configured many items/points on the CMW500 as “Follow the Guide in Nordic webpage to configure the CMW500.jpg” indicated, failed. 

2. After that, we tried to use these .dfl files “M1 configuration file for signalling.dfl“、”DAU-NB1-M1.dfl“、”M1dataCMW500.dfl“ to configure the CMW500 directly, as those video files showed but still failed.

    It returned ”RRC Reconfiguraton Failure” by system.

 Do you have any Detailed Instruction about how to configure equipment like that CMW500 series for Nordic module? With some Video Instruction that would be much helpful.

Hello Oscar,

I've had a look at the attachments you've sent us and let me just start with a couple of follow up questions to make sure I understand. 

• The FW you are using and the board you are using, is it showing normal operation otherwise if you're trying to use it towards the real world?
• Are you using the same frequency band between the kit and the CMW and what sort of cabling have you connected to the kit and the CMW?
• Are you able to capture log of from the nRF91 device during bootup and initializtion?

1: /2:  Yes, the device can be connected to the real network in North America.  

3:  Please let me know which log is needed.  

Is there any CMW500 set up guidance that you can share?  we suspect there must be some error setting, but don;t know where.
