Got a Thingy91 (not the x model) that doesn't show up as anything when connected to a PC by USB, except when in bootloader mode, by pressing SW4 (no reaction with SW3) when powering on.
Am I doomed, until I get a compatible external programmer and appropriate programming cable? (Seemed so according to another similar thread, but I want to verify.)
Or are there still some tricks to try, by only USB connection? And if there are, is an activated and present SIM required, or can this be done entirely without a SIM card?
