how to Implement HID Control for Mobile Music Play and pause Functions

To design and implement a solution that utilizes HID technology to control basic music playback functions on a mobile device. The functions to be controlled include pause, play, previous track, and next track.

I'm not sure  HID service  control mobile phone players or not.

• Play: Start or resume music playback.
• Pause: Temporarily halt music playback.
• Previous Track: Navigate to the previous song in the playlist.
• Next Track: Navigate to the next song in the playlist.

You can find there are a few HID examples in the nRF connect sdk, such as mouse and keyboard:

It's possible to modify the HID reports for additional usage, I don't think we have that ready-made, but I assume there are online third party discussions that show this. Be aware though that I don't think all all the HID reports that are supported by the various OS's, I think Android may allow this, but iOS have their own implementation for this kind of control. You may need to do refer to the individual OS's on how this can be done.
