NPM1300 ferrite on NTC signal

We are using the npm1300 with a battery with an NTC.

Can we add a ferrite between battery NTC and npm1300 NTC?

Note: there is an error in our design we will change C38 value to 100pF.

What is the reasoning behind adding a ferrite there?

The battery is connected through a Flex PCB connected to our main board. The ferrite was added to remove noise coming from the flex due to high-speed signal on it (SPI 32MHz, USB)
