Build Error with nRF5340DK: Troubleshooting Exercise 3 from DevAcademy Lesson 4 - Data Exchange in Bluetooth LE

Hello, I am studying DevAcademy Lesson 4 - Data exchange in Bluetooth LE, specifically Exercise 3 using the nRF5340DK. While attempting to build the corresponding Git code (v2.8.x-v2.7.0/l4/l4_e3_sol) to upload it to the nRF5340DK, I encountered the following error. I am unable to determine the cause.

Hello,

I have built the example on nRf5340, and it has built perfectly. NCS version 2.8.0.

I saved the example file inside NCS folder you can see from the screenshot. Can you try this way and see if this works?

Thank you. I was using version 2.7, but when I tried version 2.8 as you suggested, the build was successfully completed without any additional work. Could you explain why?

Good that it works.

I think upgrading from one version to another includes latest implementations, bug fixes and added features. I also have same error when I tried on V2.7.0. I have asked the relevant team to know more precise cause. I will get back to you when there is an update.
