I can't install nrfutil in the mac

Hello.

I want to install the nrfutil on my macBook(pro m1).

I downloaded the nrfutil install program by this URL.

But I couldn't run the program.

The nrfutil program downloaded don't have the file extension.

How i install the nrfutil on my macbook??

Hi,

As on other platforms, you need to copy it somewhere in your path or add the folder where i place nrfutil in your path. You also need to make it executable (see the note at the end of the nrfutil download page). Howver, on recent macOS versions you also need to allow executing the app specifically, as it is not signed by us for now. This is explained under "If you want to open an app that hasn’t been notarized or is from an unidentified developer" on this page.
