SDK17.1 S132 nRF52832

I use hrs_c example and it works. But I added adertising code and wanna use both central and periperial at same time. Works, but until the moment when I make connect to my central and disconnect. After disconnect I start 

nrf_ble_scan_start(&m_scan);

again and got 

NRF_BREAKPOINT_COND;

project fall inside 

ret_code_t nrf_ble_scan_start(nrf_ble_scan_t const * const p_scan_ctx)

function.

I can't understand the reason.

There is no any warnings regarding memory in RTT debagger.

So, how to use both central and peripherial at same time? I used it before on SDK15.

Were is this? In the error or hardfault handler? If so, can you check from which file name and line number you ended up there? And assumign it was form an error check, which error code was it?

But I did same operation with or without adverising at same time.

You claim I got error when I update the identities during start scan?

Or is this allowed operatrion- update the identities- but only allowed with scan start.

But! This operation disalowed during advertising? Is this do you meant?

And If I turn off advertising and will make start scan (with update the identities)- this is normal?

Conclution:

update the identities allowed in start scan and disalowed when advertising in proess. Correct?

The scan module handles this for you, and when you start scanning you get a callback with a NRF_BLE_SCAN_EVT_WHITELIST_REQUEST that  you handle, and this is where it happens. You can see it in the screenshot you pasted iwth the call stack.

This is the same for both scanning and advertising.  You are not allowed to update the identities when in use, either scanning or advertising (or both).

ok, I made scanning without advertising. At this case I also will make like on a picture-  get a callback with a NRF_BLE_SCAN_EVT_WHITELIST_REQUEST after scan start. But, without advertising. 
And you claim that without advertising it will works.

Why will it works if I'll make same operation- start scanning with same get a callback with a NRF_BLE_SCAN_EVT_WHITELIST_REQUEST?

Also, I see that all the locations/addresses is the same in this screenshot as in the one you shared last week, so it looks like this is the same firmware as before?

If I disable advertising and I'll work only with scanning, why will it works? 

Isn't it   "update the identities" allowed with scanning?

The picture above (same like 1st one) shows that "update the identities" make after scan start.

It works because when you set the witelist you update the identities in the SoftDevice, and that is not allowed while it is being used (for instsance because advertising is active)

Yes, you cannot update the whitelist while scanning or advertising.

I did not understand that. Can you elaborate?

Note that as you are not updating the whitelist when you start advertising, you can start scanning (and update the whitelist in the process ad discussed earlier in this thread), and then start advertising without causing problems if you want to advertise and scan concurrently.
