Adaptive Frequency Hopping | Channel Classification | nrf5340

Dear Nordic Support Team,

I am currently working on a project using the nRF5340 and would like to implement BLE Channel Classification, similar to Adaptive Frequency Hopping in legacy Bluetooth.
Could you please confirm if this feature is supported in SDK 2.8 and, if so, provide an example or guidance on how to use it?

Hi Tom,

Bluetooth Low Energy already implements frequency as a step to counter interference. https://www.bluetooth.com/blog/how-bluetooth-technology-uses-adaptive-frequency-hopping-to-overcome-packet-interference/

It is integrated into the protocol so there isn't a specific example that display the feature in general.

Or are you trying to do something else?

Thank you for your response.
I am interested in more explicit control over BLE channel classification. Specifically, I would like to:

1. Detect channels with high interference. ("Bad Channels")
2. Dynamically exclude such channels from the connection to enhance performance in a noisy RF environment.

Does the Nordic SDK 2.8.0 provide any mechanism to achieve this level of control?
