Hi,

The support for accessing HomeKit is determined by Apple. As far as I know, HomeKit does not currently support the OpenThread protocol alone.

However, Matter, which operates on top of OpenThread and Wi-Fi, is supported. You can explore more about Matter in the Matter documentation of the Nordic Connect SDK (NCS).

If you're specifically interested in OpenThread support for HomeKit, I recommend contacting Apple to see if they have any plans to support OpenThread directly in the future.
