No Issue. Is it worth it to buy a dev board second hand?

I discovered this chipset and have found a dev board on eBay for $37. Is it worth it to tinker with? I have the 2.8 version of the toolchain. And Sdk. On vs code.

I have never programmed a microcontroller. My intent is to learn about the board in order to use the chip for aftermarket bluetooth modification of apple keyboards. However, it comes with so many features I would like to study it. I own a xiao nRF52840 board. (From SeeedStudio) 

I could practice on that board but the website for Seeed not functional on my iPad Safari browser. Not very encouraging. Perhaps it is a more detailed way to learn about the chip.

You can buy the DK from ebay but you can make sure if it's functional and has all the essential components on board. We won't provide after sell service if something wrong with the physical device. You need to contact your seller in this regard.
