Circuit configuration question.

Hello.
consisting of nrf7002 + nrf5340,
I'm going to do battery management and power management of a circuit that operates up to a small coin electric motor at npm1100, and I'm asking if you lack specifications.

If npm1100 doesn't work, should I make it npm1300??

  • Hi,

Both the nPM1100 and the nPM1300 can not supply enough current for the nRF7002. The peak current draw while transmitting is 252mA, the nPM1300 can only supply 200mA on each of the buck converters. and the nPM1100 can only supply 150mA.

One solution is to use the either the nPM1300 or the nPM1100 for the nRF5340, and a separate regulator for the nRF7002 connected to VSYS.

    Best regards,
