Is it possible to install an update to nRF Connect SDK on an offline machine?

Hi,

I am trying to figure out a way to update the toolchain and SDK for an nRF Connect for VS Code installed on an offline machine, without much success.

From https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/104590/nrf-connect-sdk-offline-installation, I have downloaded the SDK https://files.nordicsemi.cn/ui/native/ncs-src-mirror/external/ as a tarball. I am also quite happy to use an online machine to download the toolchain and SDK, then transfer them to the offline machine.

My problem is getting the offline nRF Connect for VS Code to detect the transferred toolchain and SDK. Instead of using the Manage toolchains->Install Toolchain, or Manage SDKs -> Install SDK as shown below, is it possible to update the Toolchain and SDK versions registered with nRF Connect for VS Code from a local folder?

Before going offline, you could download the required SDK files and then use those files as pre-downloaded files when offline. You can see the SDK releases in zip file here Releases · nrfconnect/sdk-nrf.
