Hello,
I don't have experience in audio converters and interfaces so I'm asking here for your advises.
What I've is a device, in development process, that have a small speaker to provide basic info to user, not music or high definition audio. There can be some case where this speaker may not be heard because of environmental noise. Since this device is small there's no room for a 3.5mm jack. What I'd like to use is an USB to 3.5mm converter cable.
This converter, commonly available from Amazon or AliExpress, have a DAC to USB and are seen as audio card peripheral from USB host. I really don't know if there's possibility to send directly AC or other forms of signal since there's no documentation about them.
Does Nordic series nRF52 has products that works as USB host that I can pair with this device?
Does Nordic have direct or third party libraries to interface with such devices?
Do you know which problematics I may find in such implementation?
Unfortunately I can't use something like a BT earplugs (if ever possible) because they don't have enough battery duration for this application.
Thanks.
