NRF53 audio DK - no output from printk/log/uart

Hello Forum,

I have been trying to get printk/logging to work on the NRF53 audio DK for days now.

I have tried a bunch of apps including hello world from the zephyr 2.8.0 / 2.9.0

I have tried a million different suggestions from different sources, tried different boards.. no output.

I have tried:

1) Various overlays

2) Various config settings

3) Tried following guides (e.g. nordics own AI chat).

I am using board version PCA10121 version 1.0.0

I have checked the output of both virtual uarts, nothing comes out.

Is there no premade examples for 2.8.0 or 2.9.0 that show how to do a simple "hello world" on this board?.

I see others struggle with the same, but there must be a simple solution.

Is seems a bit overboard that i have to take apart the entire system just to figure out how to do a printf/printk?

CONFIG_UART_CONSOLE=y
CONFIG_SERIAL=y
CONFIG_CONSOLE=y

CONFIG_NRFX_UARTE0=y
CONFIG_USE_SEGGER_RTT=n
CONFIG_RTT_CONSOLE=n

CONFIG_CONSOLE=y

Did you try with the designated audio applications? And do these provide outpur from the Audio DK?
