How to connect mobile phone and nrf5340 audio dk together as a gateway?

Hi,

I am using nrf5340 audio dk's BIS mode, connecting gateway device to a PC via USB, it takes audio data from the PC and broadcasts it, I managed to hear the sound on headset device. And now I want to use mobile phone instead of PC to provide audio data to gateway device, what should I do?

Just to clarify, do you want to connect the nRF5340 Audio DK to your mobile phone, or just use phone directly with the headset device? If the latter, does your mobile phone support BLE Audio? Or if the former, you will need to use line in on the Audio DK.

What mobile phone are you using? What version of the nRF Connect SDK are you developing with?

Hi,

I mean the former. And when you say "line in", do you mean this description?

I don't really know exactly how I'm going to do it. What line should I use to connect my gateway device to my phone after I follow the instructions to change the .conf? Does this cable have a 3.5mm headphone plug on one end (into the phone) and a type-C plug on the other end (into the nrf-5340audio dk gateway device)?

If my understanding is not correct, please point out. Thank you.

Hello Liuzong,

I've just confirmed with our audio team that the Audio DK configured as broadcast source and connected via USB-C to your phone should work e.g. USB-C to USB-C.
