Disable UART Shell to use custom UART Protocol in Bluetooth MESH CHAT example in nrf connect sdk with nrf52 DK (nrf52832)

Hi,

I need help to disable shell_uart and its commands used in UART of BLE mesh chat example as i want to configure this UART for custom protocol along with RTS signal to control RS485 IC,

So please help to resolve below points:

1.How I can disable Shell_UART in BLE Mesh Chat Application as I don't need it and its commands in my application.

2.How to configure UART along with RTS signal after completion of point 1 to use RS485 for Custom UART Protocol.

Request you to guide.

Hello,

1) To disable Shell Uart, do the following by adding these configuration options your project's prj.conf

Disable Shell Module: CONFIG_SHELL=n

Disable the shell backend for UART: CONFIG_SHELL_BACKEND_SERIAL=n

Disable logging output to all shell backends: CONFIG_SHELL_LOG_BACKEND=n
