Source code for matter over thread border router on nrf5340 with nRF7002 wifi6 module - MIG02C40F

Hello All,

I am developing matter over thread based devices (Border router and End Devices) and for that I have chosen fanstel's MIG02C40F (nrf5340 + nRF7002) hardware module as a matter over thread border router for the PoC purpose. I am not able to find any matter over thread border router code for this platform to come to a conclusion to go ahead with this setup (nrf5340 + nRF7002). Does any one have any idea on this then kindly guide me.

Hi Bhavya,

Unfortunately we don't supply any Border Router samples in nRF Connect SDK for now for the nRF52 or nRF53 family devices, and neither of the nRF52840 or nRF5340 has enough memory to run both an Open Thread Boarder Router + a Matter over Thread application (if you intend to do both on the same device).

But for regular Matter over Thread End Devices, we have the samples you can see here: https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/nrf/samples/matter.html
