Hardware for Bluetooth Qualification

Hello,

I want to know how I can complete the qualification process. I already have a Bluetooth account. I tried to go through all the steps, but the only things I needed to provide were two QDIDs:

239354 and 239299

After that, I received a message stating that no tests are required and I can press the submit button. However, I am not sure if I have provided all the necessary information for qualification. Do I need to provide information about hardware, MCU type, layout, enclosure type, etc.?

I'm not sure what happened, but this sounds like you've skipped some steps or something went wrong.  

From Bluetooth SIG website: https://www.bluetooth.com/develop-with-bluetooth/qualify/

• Your supplier or other member companies cannot qualify your products on your behalf, you must complete the Bluetooth Qualification Process for your product yourself 
• You can only qualify your products under your member company’s account and only by completing the Bluetooth Qualification Process
• You will be charged a Product Qualification Fee for the first product submission that includes a specific design. Subsequent products you submit that include the same design will not be charged a fee. Please see our Schedule of Dues and Fees for more information 

You should need to supply some more information towards Bluetooth SIG in order to complete the registration as seen at the bottom of the above link to Bluetooth.com. I guys you never got moved into the "Specify the Design" phase of the qualification process?

Hello Asbjørn,

I want to qualify our product under our company's account and I use this the link qualification.bluetooth.com.

Here are my steps:

After providing all the product details (product name, product number, publication date and website) on the first page I go to the ‘Specify the Design’ menu. Then I get the question: ‘Do you include any existing Design(s) in your Product?’

I answer ‘Yes, I do.’ Then I provide two QDIDs:

• 239354 (nRF Connect SDK Host Subsystem)
• 239299 (SoftDevice Controller Subsystem for NRF52)

Both numbers are recognized.

Then I choose ‘I am finished entering DNs.’

I get the question: ‘You provided Designs with LE Core-Host and LE Core-Controller Configuration. What do you want to do next?’

I choose ‘Combine unmodified Designs.’

New message: ‘This will create a new Design with LE Core-Complete Configuration (QPRD Option 2a). Provide the following information about your Design.’

I provide my Design Name and click on ‘Perform Consistency Check.’

I get the message: ‘No inconsistencies identified.’

I click on ‘Save and go to Test Plan and Documentation.’ and go to the next menu.

There I see: ‘No test plan has been generated for your new Design. Test declarations and test reports do not need to be submitted. You can continue to the next step.’

I click on ‘Save and go to product qualification fee.’

I get the message: ‘A Product Qualification Fee is required for this submission. You must provide a Receipt Number as proof of payment.’ That's all.

I cannot find any menu where additional information is required. I would appreciate any advice.

I'm not really sure what to tell you here as the problem you're facing is related to the Bluetooth SIG qualification webpage and not something Nordic Semiconductor is hosting or running.
