nRF52 DK not detected through USB

Hi,

after having issues with my devkit flashing the main MCU, the interface MCU isn't being seen on USB anymore.

LED5 is blinking rapidly.

 nrf52 DK keeps resecuring itself

The board is a PCA10040 v3.0.4 with the nRF5340 as interface MCU.

All the documentation is only about the older version with the Atmel MCU, which can be recovered with its bootloader.

Is a similar thing possible with the v3.x and up?

I have access to other devkits and programmers.

Thanks!

  • Oh Thanks, I was referring the old versions manual but got into the same issue. My nrf52832 DK is currently in Bootloader mode. And is not detected in laptop when I connect with cable. how should i get out of the bootloader mode?

  • You have a newer version of the DK with the new debugger?

If that is the case then you are not able to recover the interface MCU in the same way and if you have tried to do that then you might have broken the device if that is the case as the interface MCS does not have the same support for being re-flashed.

You can also create a new ticket with all this info and link to this case as reference and we can follow up there.

IF only the interface MCU is what does not behave properly then you might still be able to program the onboard nRF SoC with another Debugger\Programmer through the Debug In connector.
