nRF5340 Audio stream drop without notification

Hi,

I am using the nRF5340 Audio application under NCS v2.8.0 as a Unicast Client (Central).

The nRF5340 is connected to hearing aids.

When moving out of range, audio streaming stops, even though the ACL connection remains active.

We observed that the nRF5340 continues sending audio streaming packets despite receiving NACK responses for each packet.

The nRF5340 does not notify the application about the NACK packets or any issues with the CIS channel.

Is there a way to monitor NACK packets or any other method to detect that the hearing aids are no longer in a streaming state?

Why does the nRF5340 not disconnect the CIS channel in such a scenario?

Regards,

Omri.
