NRF52833DK_NRF52833 USB Mass Storage Support

Hello,

I am new to developing on nordic devices.

I currently have a NRF52833DK and wanted to try the USB MSC functionality.

Looking at the latest SDK:

It says - This information applies to the nRF52840 SoC only.

In Visual Code if I try the mass example project and create a new build configuration I see nRF52840DK as an option but no nRF52833DK.

Are there no examples of USB MSC functionality for the nRF52833DK?.

Hello Brent,

There seem to be some confusion. The link you gave is for the nRF5 SDK, while Visual Code is a tool more used with the nRF Connect SDK (NCS), and nrf52833dk_nrf52833 is a board target name also in NCS.

To look for samples in NCS, you want to look in two places in the SDK and documentation:

ncs/vX.Y.Z/nrf/samples for samples created specific for NCS, documented here: https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-2.9.0/page/nrf/samples.html

ncs/vX.Y.Z/zephyr/samples for samples from the Zephyr RTOS project, which NCS is based on, documented here: https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-2.9.0/page/zephyr/samples/index.html
