NRF52840 on macOS Sonoma: JLINK DFU Drive continuously disconnects and reconnects

Hello!

When turning on the board, USB connected to the Mac, a software drive named JLINK keeps mounting and being dismounted, as on the video of this link:  JLINK video
Only using disk utilities to remove the disk stops the alerts.
Any solution?

Hi,

I suspect you are seeing the macOS issues that are fixed in V7.96e (see J-Link release notes). So updating to a newer version should fix it. (If you won't need it, you may also want to disable the mass storage device as described here).

Thanks. I've solved with the update of the Jlink.

After the download I've found, inside the applicstions/SEGGER folder a new folder: JLink_V812c

Inside this folder there is a file "JLinkExe" (bad name). Clicking on it opens a terminal were is possible to use the msddisable command.
