[nPM1300] Need more than 50mA on the LDO.

Hey All,
I am sorry if this question may seem absurd or very very illogical, I am not very good at hardware but here I go.
So I am designing a circuit around nRF54L15 as my main MCU and decided to use nPM1300 as PMIC. I have dedicated one DC/DC Converter to the MCU (1V8) and another DC/DC Converter to my Sensors (Accelerometer etc.) which is also 1V8. So onto my problem, One of my sensors need both 1V8 and 3V3 (1V8 for Logic and 3V3 for sensing unit), the Absolute max current for the 3V3 part is around 90mA and 1V8 part is around 140mA. As I have exhausted all my DC/DC Converters, I am left with the 2 LDOs in the PMIC. So my question is that can I somehow use both these LDOs together to provide me the 100ish mA of current needed for my sensor (as each LDO can provide only 50mA). What are my options, I would really not like to add another LDO to the circuit as my board is already crammed and I don't wanna increase BOM cost, so I am keeping that as my last option.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,
Anmol

  • Thanks for the Reply, I have one more follow up question related to my system, i.e. what is the maximum current consumption of nRF54L15 at 1.8V (info related to instantaneous current will also be appreciated), I could find the current consumption of nRF54L15 at 3V in datasheet but could not find any details for 1.8V. This is important as I realized that if nRF54L15 consumed less than 50mA at 1.8V then I could connect the MCU to one of the LDOs and free up an DC/DC Converter.
