Using BLE audio examples for nrf5340 audio DK - No sound - unicast_server

Hello,

using nrf5340 audio sample present in SDK v2.9.0, I can't hear anything from my nrf5340 Audio DK

I'm testing unicast_server scenario using a Motorola Edge 50 Pro phone with Android 14.

I can pair my phone to the nrf5340 Audio DK board and enable LE Audio but I still can't hear anything from my wired earphones with a 3.5mm jack connected to HEADPHONE jack on the board.

I can play/pause streaming application (e.g youtube music) and increase and decrease volume with VOL+ and VOL- buttons

But no music from the headphones connected to Audio DK. Did i miss something?

Looking at the specs of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, does this even support Bluetooth Low Energy Audio?

yes, motorola EDGE 50 Pro support LE Audio.

Hi,

yes when I pair the device (NRF5340_AUDIO) I can enable LE audio from Bluetooth Android settings without any errors.

As I mentioned, I can't hear any sound from headset connected to audio DK but play/stop and volume buttons works fine.

Hello, thanks for clarifying. Could you please provide the application logs from your device? There might be information in these that can help find the culprit. 

Also, do you have nRF Connect for Android installed? This should provide information about the connection as well. There is a Device information tab that should also provide us more information about the phone.

Sorry for my late response. I can't retrieve logs from my phone because I’m unable to enable developer mode. However, I can provide the information available from the nRF Connect app. I'll share it in my next comment.
