Thingy:91X can see the LTE-M network, but Manual COPS returns error?

Hi,

I'm using the nRF Cloud multi-service application on my Thingy:91X.

I am using the Serial Terminal to see what networks are available, but when I go to attach manually it returns error.

uart:~$ > at at+cops=?
at at+cops=?
+COPS: (1,"","","23410",7),(3,"","","23430",9)
OK

uart:~$ > at at+cops=1,2,"23430"
at at+cops=1,2,"23430"
ERROR

Is this manual cops locked out when running the nRF Cloud multi-service application? If so, how is that done?

Also, I don't see any logging on this device coming out to the terminal. The light is flashing, but I don't see any logs being displayed.

With the nRF9161-dk I do see the nRF Cloud logging text

Thanks,

Phil.

  • Hi Phil,

    +COPS: (1,"","","23410",7),(3,"","","23430",9)

What XSYSTEMMODE is your device set to? Could you provide more information on your initial setup? What happens when you using use automatic selection?

Also, I don't see any logging on this device coming out to the terminal. The light is flashing, but I don't see any logs being displayed.

How did you program the Thingy:91X? Are you using the prebuilt image from Quick Start or did you compile the sample yourself?

    Kind regards,
    Øyvind
