i have also problem with nRF24L01+ and my circuits supply. We have tried dc power supply, some smps circuit, 12V battery and 12V adapter. It didnt work with two of smps supply voltage directly, one of 12V adapter usually and 12V batttery rarely. It worked perfect with dc power supply.
Anyway, when we put a capacity to supply voltage and rf output, it worked better. And if we set rf output power as a minimum, it worked better than better :p but still not perfect.
I think transmitting data on rf tranceiver needs instantaneous current, and if supply cant provide this current, supply voltage can be trolled.
If anyone has an idea about that, i would be appreciated.
