Getting MAC address from IoT SDK example?

I have an nRF 52 dev kit, an Asus router running openWRT, and an android phone with the master control panel.

I'm able to compile and flash the dev kit with the example coap/ipv6/server with CFLAGS += -DCOMMISSIONING_ENABLED added to the makefile.

I am not able to see the dev kit broadcasting as the name designated in the ipv6_medium_ble_cfg.h file. I need the mac address to connect to router to the dev kit. Am I missing something?

Hi, I haven't tried to do this in WRT, but assume you can use hcitool?

E.g.,

$ sudo hcitool lescan

This should discover all ble devices within range, and report the device name togheter with the address. Then you can use the instructions given here to determine the ipv6 address.

I figured out the problem of the broadcast. I didn't flash the dev kit with the soft device. Now that I have. I see it broadcasting but I cant connect to it with the command 'hcitool cc '.
