nRF52810 DEC2 decoupling

Hello,
we are using the NRF52810-QCAA in LDO configuration.
On reference design, there is an NC decoupling capacitor on DEC2 pin.

Is it possible to completely remove it (ie. not putting any PCB trace on this pin)?
Or is the 0402 NC pad actually required to make a few pF decoupling, just from the presence of this trace + pad?

Yes, it's possible to remove the traces and pads for the N.C. DEC2 decoupling cap on the nRF52810.
