Hello everyone, recently I received a thingy:91x with an extra truphone sim card.
I am based in Indonesia and want to test the cellular connection from device but doesn't have a successful result yet.
Here are what I done so far to test the Thingy:91x:
- When it first arrived I tested out the hello nrf cloud example from hackster (www.hackster.io/.../first-steps-with-the-nordic-thingy-91-x-84d082996304). I tested it with all the sim cards including the truphone sim card, but all of them only give Yellow blinking light indicating they are still searching for the network. I also already activate the truphone sim card on their website. the other SIM card that comes in the box doesn't have coverage support in Indonesia.
- Installing the nrf connect software and testing it with AT command with the AT Command firmware in the quick start menu, I changed the APN with the truphone APN with at command but still got no result. when I try AT+CPIN? it gives an ERROR response. and AT+CSQ gives 99 values indicating there is no signal captured by the device. I also tried to change the MNC MCC to set it with my local network operator AT+COPS=1,2,"51010" but it also still gives me the same result.
As a reference to check if my area has NB IOT coverage, I have a blues wireless cellular note card that is still working and actively sending data.
Is there any other way to check and get a successful connection using truphone sim card?
