The firmware version of the HomePod is 18.3.

The iOS app version of Samsung SmartThings is 1.7.26.112.

The developers have not been able to reproduce the issue. They tested with the following setup:

HomePod 18.3
iOS 18.3.1 with Home app
SmartThings app version 1.8.28.21 on Pixel with Android 13
