[nRF5340] External PSRAM support over SPI or QSPI interface

Hello,

We would like to interface an external PSRAM with nRF5340 MCU.

We didn't find any refference on how to do so.

So, my question is it possibel to interface an external PSRAM with nRF5340 ?

Also, Does nRF5340 have an external memory interface to map the external RAM to some memory address ?

Hi

The QSPI peripheral on the nRF53 series is tailored to NOR flash chips with hard coded commands I'm afraid, so PSRAM modules won't be well suited here I think. If you're planning on having an external memory interface for XIP or similar, I'd strongly recommend going for a NOR flash instead, as we have sample projects and drivers available for that.
