Video Codec

Hello,

  This is long shot more than anything else but are there any instances of a video coded (mp4, AVI or similar) ported over to the nordic/zephyr platform.  I can't see any examples on an internet search but I'm just checking before looking at a redesign of our product concept.

Forget it - processing and RAM requirements are off for at least one order of magnitude when considering mp4 codec or anything modern-ish.

The 128MHz NRF5340 is fully utilized just decoding MP3 audio at higher quality levels.

The old MPEG-1 stuff might be technically with limits, but I don't see a high speed interface that could handle raw video data on an NRF52832.
