nrf8001 master slave

Hello, i'm working with nrf8001 right now. I know that nrf8001 can work like Peripheral(slave) device. This is working ok. Im wondering if it is possible for nrf8001 to work like master device. My question is. If i have two nrf8001 is it possible for them to communicate with each other? So one will be master and one slave. And if it's not what BLE chip from Nordic semiconductor do you suggest to work like master. Thanks for any response.

You cannot use nrf8001 as master (central). I suggest using nRF51 as central device that will initiate connection. nRF52 is also very promising, but nRF51 has already great documentation and SDK.
