Will this programmer work for the nrf52840?

I am incorporating the nrf52840 into a new design and it is my first time working with a Nordic product. I am looking to start with the SEGGER J-LINK EDU MINI due to it's low cost.

The SEGGER website says it will work. Can Nordic confirm? One complaint I have so far working with Nordic is a lack of documentation regarding basic circuitry needed to program the raw microcontroller. In comparison, check any Microchip PIC datasheet, it will have a page showing the basic essential circuitry for programming with the Pickit. I understand the Nordic dev boards can be programmed via USB, but what about actual production where you aren't using a dev board? Where is the support for this? Have I missed some documentation somewhere, because I have searched it out and found nothing so far. Any help from actual Nordic tech support would be much appreciated to ensure my design doesn't come back unprogrammable.
