We need nrf9161 protocols

1. Can we use SIM other than iBasis to use nrf cloud?

2. My SIM does not have a PUK. How to proceed without entering it.

3. We need SIM too kit document for nrf9161.

4. We are using nrf9161 development board with BLE to test our GPS. How to get the Command list /protocol for this device?

  • You should try the Conexio Stratus Pro kit  that supports multiple different SIMs and easy to use. Already comes with a preloaded 500MB Iot data.

  •  A nice compact board with on-board battery charger with solar support.

16MB or 32MB external flash plus a RGB user LED would make it even more impressive. Hopefully in the next version.

  •   its on the way Slight smile .

With a few extra additions and upgrades.... Like on board nRF52xx debugger as well...

Keep an eye for the release...
    Cheers

  • An on-board nRF52xx as an IMCU to program/debug the firmware plus two RGB LEDs (one for user LEDs and the other on the nPM1300 for IMCU/CHG/Charging ERR) would be nice. It would be great if the nRF52xx IMCU exposes two UARTs, like the Nordic Semi dev kits, and a MSD for drag-and-drop programming.

Btw - Can the Conexio Stratus Pro board be selected from the drop-list of boards, programmed & flashed from within "VS Code for nRF Connect SDK" using the 10-pin J-Link connected to a nRF91xx-DK?

Looking forward to the updates. Thanks.

Ok, let' see what we can get out in the next revision. I plan to start with getting first the nRF52 as debugger only release.
Once that is out and stable then other J-link related features will follow. However, all these are good pointers which is getting on my to-do list now :)

I think this can be done. I will need to circle back with Nordic Tech team to see how they have managed to get it it up and running and I know Nordic nRF Connect for VSCode uses USB Vendor IDs that detect the connected DKs and allows to program. Atm, this is very custom to Nordic DKs only.

    Thanks
