what is the reason for throughput improve after moving to ncs2.8.0

i am working with nrf52832 and 52840 .. we use SMP service over BLE for downloading files from our device file system.

we see an increase in download speed after moving from ncs2.5.0 to ncs 2.8.0 

we can not point it to something we did.. but we would really like to know what can cause this improvement .. 

any ideas ?

Hi Ziv,

I suggest you 'diff' the .config file from your previous version with the current one to see the exact changes. It could be the CONFIG_MCUMGR_TRANSPORT_BT_CONN_PARAM_CONTROL setting which will make the app request new connection parameters with a shorter connection interval when DFU is initiated.
