Power supply voltage ramp

The datasheet, page 78, says "Supervisor HW to manage power on reset, brownout, and power fail".

We are powering from a solar cell, so the power supply voltage ramp will be arbitrary, so in some lighting conditions the supply voltage may hover around 1.8V. Do we need external circuitry to ensure power is only applied to the nRF52832 when it exceeds the minimum operating voltage of 1.8V?

It looks as if we don't need external circuitry because this is dealt with by the nRF52832 but I want to double check to ensure we don't incur any problems.

The chip will do it but at that voltage several things may not work correctly, like voltage references. See https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ps_nrf52832/page/power.html

The point is not configurable.

As the 832 has LPCOMP you can also use this to ensure a higher voltage point if you so wish. https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ps_nrf52832/page/lpcomp.html

Once the point is reached you can use POFCON to monitor up to 2.8v.
