Hi,
Also asked your AI, but if I combine the information on https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ug_ppk2/page/UG/ppk/measure_current_source_meter.html with that on https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ug_nrf52832_dk/page/UG/dk/prepare_board.html I see
A cable attached to the dev kit.
While the other source indicates "Note: While SB12 is shorted, the DK must not be powered from the USB if there is an external supply connected because the protection diode has been bypassed.".
What should I be doing here?
In the app only the PPK is in the drop-down and it has the error
I don't want to destroy this dev kit. As according to the instructions I have
* Put P22 in series with the load, cut the PCB track shorting solder bridge SB9.
* If using an external power supply, short solder bridge SB12 to bypass the protection diode, which would otherwise give a voltage drop.
What should I do?
Was soldering the bridge SB12 actually not necessary?
Kind regards,
Anne
